St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral

Restoration Appeal

St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral is the oldest Catholic Cathedral in Australia, and the heart of Catholic life in the Adelaide Archdiocese.

Situated in the centre of the Adelaide CBD, this iconic heritage listed building is considered a major Australian work of the Gothic Revival Style.

Due to being in urgent need of renovation to transform it into a warm and welcoming place of worship, the Adelaide Archdiocese approached us looking for a way to put a call out to the community to help maintain and preserve the Cathedral for future generations.

Collaborating with a number of teams, from the members of the Archdiocese, to strategic specialists, photographers and web developers, we were able to create an in-depth and forward thinking Restoration Appeal.

The project started with the logo design, which was based on the iconic Rose Window, and extended to promotional brochures, online and print advertising, directed photography shoots, banners, kiosks and more.

What a wonderful project this was to be part of and to experience the beauty of this iconic, heritage listed Cathedral, right in the heart of our little city.
